While followers of the surname Buffett may be legion, it’s the man named Warren who draws a cult following of shareholder types to Omaha every spring.
Shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway will gather on Saturday, April 30 in Omaha for the 51st Annual Meeting under CEO Warren Buffett.
I was among 40,000 shareholders who attended the meeting last year, and I will never forget the host’s example of corporate transparency, Midwestern hospitality and “Buffett-Munger” wisdom. I wrote about it for RIABiz. This year, those who are interested but not able to attend can join the entire meeting via live webcast. Yahoo announced it will livestream the meeting.

Through shareholder letters, interviews and lengthy meeting narratives, this prodigious investment duo has created a massive body of work that will live on beyond their years as legendary investors and oft-quoted financial gurus.
I can’t wait for the 2016 meeting reviews.
